Know Why to Prepare
One reason to prepare for negotiation is to get a sense of what is going to be important and/ or relevant in reaching decisions. Another reasons is to develop a map outlining the information you need to uncover during negotiation so that the negotiation can be more effective and efficient.
            Preparation also will make you more competent to negotiate on a particular range of isssues with a spesific set of parties. You will understand your strenght and weakness better so that you can remedy you weakness and build on your strenght.
Preparation also can make you more credible: The other parties will take what you say more seriously. If it seems that you’re not sufficiently informed, it’s harder to negotiate effectively.
Here are three final points as you get ready to prepare:
